Tucked into the countryside of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Lucky 7 Barn is a family-run wedding and events venue known for warm hospitality and practical, can-do service. Couples choose from an open field with wide Ohio skies, a quiet wooded ceremony spot, or the barn’s indoor setting if the weather turns. On site, private bride and groom suites provide comfortable spaces to get ready, and a fully licensed in-house bartending team keeps the celebration flowing with friendly, professional care.

Meet the Family

Lucky 7 Barn is owned by Chad Steinke, longtime steward of the property and former owner of Lucky 7 Boer Goat Farm, which produced award-winning goats shown at various county and state fairs. In 2023, the goat farm was sold and plans for the event venue took shape—turning a legacy of hard work and show-ring pride into a place for milestone moments.

Chad’s children—CJ, Josie, Levi, and Isaac—were all raised on the property and now help operate the venue. Each holds a bartender’s license, and together they handle everything from setup and bar service to guest care and groundskeeping. The result is a welcoming, well-run celebration space where families feel at ease, details are handled with heart, and every “I do” gets the personal attention it deserves.
